Business Body language

Date: Thursday, 28th November
Location: Carlton Ambassador Hotel
19:00: Doors open for networking
19:30: Meeting, speaker, questions, followed by networking (till 22:00)

In this highly competitive world as entrepreneurs, most of us are unaware that we are judged within seven seconds on how trustworthy and competent we are; and that our body language can have four times more impact on the first impression we make than any other factor. Just as a picture can say more than 1000 words, we can derive more from non-verbal communication than what is said. But how aware are we of our own ‘business body language’? What is our impact on others and how can we read the body language of others? It is not just about the conversations you conduct, but about the way you conduct them.

Key takeways:
  • The non-verbal communication ‘tool box’ and the importance of achieving a congruent image
  • The 5 key body language gestures and discover your default gesture
  • Learn to read the non-verbal signs you are receiving from others and adjust your presence accordingly

Joanna Polak-Goodman from Image Talks will be giving us this insight in how to perfect business body language.

Image-TalksJoanna is qualified in Corporate Image and Personal Branding drawing upon her senior management client facing roles during 20 years of banking experience.
