Start your Own Business Seminar is back!

The event is a fantastic opportunity for internationals who want to set up business in the Netherlands to gather information and get started. This event will take place on Thursday, 9 May 2019 at Webster University, Leiden and starts at 17:30.


Women’s Business Initiative International (WBII) and Webster University  have joined forces and organised three 45 minute seminars in one workshop where attendees can find out and learn about:

1. Business set up in the Netherlands: general differences between Dutch and other markets.
2. Legal considerations from a personal and business perspective.
3. Reality check – gain insights, tips and financial insights from those who have already set up.
4. Brainstorm and identify the actions you need to take to move forward.
5. Building your network – Dutch style.

Start Your Own Business enables you to learn, ask questions and network with people who have been there and done it as well as those who are on your same path. Interested?

6:00-6:10pm Welcome
6:10-6:30pm Requirements for setting up in the NL and differences with other markets
6:30-7:15pm Workshop
7:15-8:45 (split group discussions, swap at 8pm) group 1: advice on setting up a business (financial and legal aspects) and group 2: career transition and management for expats
8:45-9:30 networking and drinks

Registration fee: €25 (including BTW)
